Darkcore (U Know The Score) is an 80-minute homage to a specific time from 1992 - 1994 when UK breakbeat hardcore was creeping away from bubbly cartoon aesthetics towards the darker and deeper side of the E. Lurking in the dark corners of the illegal party, not yet fully exploded into jungle, this music explores hyperspeed breaks, mixed mentasms and hairpin turns, pasted together with a collection of samples designed to tell stories and morph trips.

Darkcore is a testament to the amazing things done with limited sampler time and unlimited NRG. Lovingly mixed by Chaos Clan label head Star Eyes, who remains deeply indebted to and under the influence of this short-lived but ecstatic era. Comes with tracklist 4 my trainspotters.
